Say YES!

Did something happen that I should know about?

Within, oh say, the last 8 hours I was trying my hardest to stay asleep?

Because I’m looking at my side bar and it says – unbelievably – that I have 643 followers.  That’s about 400++ more followers I had when I went to bed last night.

Is this a programming or computer glitch WordPress? (Please don’t say it is)

Did my account get hacked? (Oh my, my my)

Is this for real? (Say, YES!)

I checked freshly pressed and I’m not there so…what is this all about? No, seriously :-)

I don’t mean to be ungrateful, but if by later I see this number go back down to where it was… I’d be doing my pouty face the whole day.

By the way, my other blogs have experienced the spike too.  Can anyone, explain that to me please?  I haven’t gotten any email notifications about the additional followers.  How am I supposed to thank them? :-)

(P.S. Will be reposting this in my other blogs as well.  My logical brain needs an answer, while the other one just says, “Hey, now that’s nice.”)

    Sounds like a welcome conundrum!

You just have a great blog. Original. People like that sort of thing, it’s probably word of mouth, too. I’ve blogged about your blog! Wishing you continued success and a happy new year.

      :-) Oh thanks a lot!

But as for the numbers… well I figured it out – once you reach a certain number of posts, WordPress automatically adds your facebook and twitter followers/friends. I wrote about it in my other blog…but as one blogger pointed out, it’s still inspiring to know you have a following :-)

Again, thanks a lot for blogging about my blog… now you’ve got me curious. I’ll be stalking your blog tonight to see what you wrote about lol!

Toss? Keep? Or... Make like "project runway"?
