The weather’s crazy folks I tell you. Yesterday it was sunny as hell, now it’s raining like there’s no tomorrow. I would have been bummed otherwise (oh not because it’s raining – I like the rain), but because that would have meant re-arranging what I planned to wear today.

Then I remembered, it’s the last work day for the week! So basically, today’s get-up is casual-friday ready. So dressing in layers of a mix and match of some of my favorite colors, particularly using a color that’s trending now.

I got this tangerine silk shell sleeveless top from Zara and it is one size bigger. So, every time I wear it, I have to wear something underneath, a bandeau or something that would cover up the essentials. And today I chose my hunter green bandeau borrowed from another dress. Love the contrast it makes.

Next, since, it feels more or less like a casual friday, I’m wearing my favorite side-zip dark wash stretch skinny jeans from Zara. I love this one – it fits like a glove but has the right amount of stretch that I can eat properly in it without feeling like I can’t breathe. Covering up today with my hunter green embroidered cropped blazer from Espirit.

For accessories I have on my gold hoop earring and layering things up with 3 necklaces – a gold chain necklace with saints as pendants (a gift since I was a child), a pearl and other semi-precious peach stones from Liz Claiborne, and my Oliver Bonas necklace.

For shoes, well, I just had to use these pair from Nine West. Again, they go so well with my nail color for this week Makes me smile every time I look down at my feet.
